Can / Can't

   Can 

  • Can is used to refer to 'ability,offers,requests,permission,possibility'.
  • Subject + Auxiliary Verb (can) + Verb

                              My brother can speak five languages fluently.

                              She can play basketball very well.

                              You can leave when you finish your homework.

                              I can carry those boxes for you if you want.

                              Can you please lower your voice ?

   Can't

  • Can not be used as ' inability,prohibition,deduction'.
  • Subject + Auxiliary Verb (can't) + Verb

                               I can't speak russian.(inability)

                               You can't bring pets inside the cinema.(prohibition)

                              She can be busy if she is not returning your messages.(deduction)

                              I can't sing but I can dance.
